Hello Paul,

I'm confused.   That Kenwood is an FM radio where as WSJT is intended 
for weak signal SSB work on say UHF+/VHF/HF.  I suppose you could try 
running WSJT modes on FM but I'm not sure how well that would work.  
Next, the RC-D710 is a 1200/9600 AFSK/FSK AX.25 TNC which are entirely 
different modes than what WSJT does.

- The port on the back of the RC-D710 head is for AX.25 and APRS packet 
*only*

- The "PC" port on the back of the radio body is for programming and CAT 
control only

- The "Data" port on the back of the radio body is for interconnecting 
the radio's audio signals to external TNCs or to a PC soundcard for say 
Echolink.  If you really wanted to use WSJT on FM, you'd use this port


Unless I'm missing something, this is a very apples and oranges 
conversation to me.
