On the subject of "low hanging fruit", it occurred to me that it might
not be that difficult to get both WSJT-X and WSPR-X to build on Android
and iOS. According to the Qt website, it is already supported on those
platforms, something that the Qt marketing folks are quick to mention
(and rightfully so).

Of course, the codes themselves would need some platform dependent
modifications to properly function on those platforms. That's not
a trivial exercise by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm not the person to look into this as I don't have any dev
experience with Android or iOS, nor the personal inclination. (A 7 inch
or larger tablet is great for catching up on my technical journals on
the sofa instead of in front of a stupid computer monitor. But I find
touch interfaces quite cumbersome for more complex tasks, most likely
because of my "old geezer" eyes and broom stick sized fingers).

Getting them to just build on those platforms is probably a walk in the
park for someone with the relevant Qt experience. Just that would be a
helpful step in the direction of eventual full support. So, this post
was to see if there is someone on the list with those skills, or a call
to arms to be on the look out for such a person...
