Hi Bill,

A list of standard frequencies for WSPR operation appears at top left of
the WSPRnet home page: http://wsprnet.org/drupal/node .

I think a table of frequency and mode pairs could be a good idea. I
have now put two sets of standard frequencies in the default list
(defined in lines 703 ff of Configuration.cpp, in v1.6.1 r5394). As
mentioned before, the list is getting rather long.

While I think of it:

1. To make all these frequencies appear in the main window's drop-down
list, a user must delete his WSJT-X.ini or edit it to remove the line
defining his "frequencies". A button to "Reset default frequencies"
might be worthwhile.

2. The "frequencies" line in our *.ini files presently looks like this:
frequencies="@Variant(\0\0\0\x7f\0\0\0\x13Radio::Frequencies\0\0\0\0*\0\0\0\0\0\x2\x13@\0\0\0\0\0\x2\x13\xc2\0\0\0\0\0\a<X\0\0\0\0\0\x1c\x6\x38

... and on for several more lines...

In other words, the list of frequencies not useful here in a
human-readable sense. The same applies to a number of other lines
(stations, geometry, TxAudioSource, PTTMethod, etc.). I suppose we
could convert these things from Variants to ints, doubles, QStrings, or
whatever, so that the ini file can be understood by users? Would doing
this be more trouble than it's worth?
