The transmission algorithm (for all WSJT modes) already preserves phase 
over entire transmissions: there are no phase discontinuities at the 
tone boundaries.  In this sense, coherence is present not only for a 
particular tone, but for all tones of the M-FSK modulation scheme.

My previous post (~40 minutes ago) was about taking advantage of the 
fact that for a particular signal, amplitude and phase should both be 
continuous across symbol boundaries.  Taking advantage of this fact 
should be helpful in separating signals that overlap in frequency.
