The transmission algorithm (for all WSJT modes) already preserves phase over entire transmissions: there are no phase discontinuities at the tone boundaries. In this sense, coherence is present not only for a particular tone, but for all tones of the M-FSK modulation scheme. My previous post (~40 minutes ago) was about taking advantage of the fact that for a particular signal, amplitude and phase should both be continuous across symbol boundaries. Taking advantage of this fact should be helpful in separating signals that overlap in frequency. -- 73, Joe, K1JT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
