No, I can't think of any immediate serious applications for fast JT9 for
EME either,  other than perhaps for very short duration digital contacts
between well-equipped stations.

I guess the motivation was to understand what was happening with behaviour
we did not initally expect - this is now all clear and thanks for
explaining what was happening.

Also agreed the single tone echo tests are extremely useful.
