That is not quite correct, the Qt run time plugins are optional and the
program can start without some of them. For example the package:
libqt5multimedia5-plugins
is not required for build the application and the application will start
without it. The audio devices will not be available so WSJT-X cannot
operate without it so it is essential for normal operation and must be
installed.
