I like to be on the cutting edge heh… I actually meant to go back to 10.10 at 
one point but in the process I nuked my backup drive so I have no backup from 
that OS version and I’m stuck with what I have now.

I mean, I could probably go back but it would be a lot of work at this point. I 
am getting a new computer soon…

Are there any users on the list using a TS-590? I have not had any reports from 
OS X users with this radio so I don’t know if I’m a unique case or not.  

As for the Warning you noted, yes I am seeing that in the console. 

Here’s what I get in console from when I launch the app to when the failure 
exhibits.  I hit TUNE a few times then get this and the audio switches over:
