I do not know what's happening in your setup, but none of those effects
is true here. The audio for every transmission starts at phase angle 0
(and therefore amplitude 0). There is no tone burst before the message
transmission. There are no clicks.
Have you listened to your generated audio (output directly from
soundcard to speaker, no VBcable) ??
Have you looked into what's happening in your VBcable driver ??
