Hi Burt,

the intention of the UDP message capability of WSJT-X is to broadcast
decode and logging events plus some key status information to other
applications and to allow those other applications to initiate a QSO in
response to a decoded CQ or QRZ message. It also allows the free text
message contents to be changed. This capability is not intended to be
used as a way of completing a QSO using another program. This
implementation is a deliberate limitation of functionality rather than
an omission in the specification.
