That's because his offset was more than 10Hz different.That's the window WSJT-X
uses to determine "same frequency". JTAlert has an adjustable freq width for
an alert on the Rx window.Usually means their rig isn't calibrated very well.
Don't see it real often.Sometimes they will move offset due to QRM though but
that's usually quite a bit further like over 100hz away.

this QSO with PA3CPS (See screen capture

called CQ, PA3CPS responded and his response was shown in “Rx Frequency”. I
replied. His next 3 responses, including a “73” did show up under “Band

On cable TV they have a weather channel - twenty-four hours of weather.
We had something like that where I grew up. We called it a window.
