I was thinking of the enabled flag like other widgets have where it greys out.
Doesn't look like it's addressable from the way these buttons are implemented.
My internet connection isn't slow - 100Mb. I think it's the response time of
sourceforge. Even on 2nd attempt sometimes it takes longer than 1 second (I've
seen 2-5).I can well imagine somebody clicking Refresh again thinking nothing
is happening.

Hi Mike, obviously a slow Internet connection would cause that but TBH the
real problem is that QNetworkAccessManager seems to block for a couple of
seconds on first use on Windows. That is annoying and doesn't happen on other
platforms, probably due to the SSL library loading and reading CA certs from
the registry. The directory listing is a tiny JSON file and should not take
that long to retrieve.
