yes, I’ve noticed this why I’m not going to get in to translating the
GPL-license itself. 😊
The text in the license.adoc is clear in pointing to the GPL-license why this
should not be any problem doing a tranlation doing the same thing. The problem,
as I see it, is if the rest of the text is important and has to be treated
delicatly when translated in regards to the copyright.
As suggested erlier, if I just do a preamble in the manual and leave the
license.adoc file as it is. This will not be a problem at all. 😊 If no one is
having a problem with it I’ll be doing this until we decide anything else.
I Think Joe have to give his opinion in this before we do anything more in
translating this section of the user guide. I will do a correction of the 1.6
user guide as mentioned above to replace (if requested) the current version now
published on the WSJT-webiste.

Hi Anders,
with respect to the GPL 3 licence, they specifically disallow
translation unless it is one of the available translations that they
have approved. See here

Unfortunately no official Swedish translation as you can see.
