Wolfgang is not alone in having these problems.
My Vista machine has been having trouble for some time, with update from svn
hanging up halfway through, and then on trying again getting the
'Sourceforge may be down' error.
Today I was able to do a build successfully using the "svn cleanup / svn up"
method (including some Ctrl-C when it hung completely). I was not as lucky
as Wolfgang however - while he only needed a few cycles of svn cleanup / svn
up, it took me about 20 or 30.
It seems to hang with a timeout error.

download hung at 'A wsjtx_opti.iss' (?) Internet link was OK (?)
did a Ctrl-C needed a 'svn cleanup' and 'svn up' again and it ended
Updated to revision 7588. !!!
'build-wsjtx rinstall' worked this time
