My personal opinion on this is not only NO, but HELL NO!
If you (Mike) don't mind more monitoring and "telemetry" on yourself, go
for it. But I take extra steps to minimize it, and I don't want someone
else compromising that effort "for the public good".

PSKReporter is the least of my concerns.
WIndows 10 already reports more about you than you'd care to know by
default. Not that we should follow their example....and if Apple
hasn't done it yet they will follow suit soon.
Hi Mike,
given the millions of spots per day going to pskreporter.info and
wsprnet.org the policy of opting in looks like it's working ok to me.
I would not like to have to draft the agreement that would be required
on installation if we had those options on by default. Are you willing
to pay the necessary lawyers fees to ensure that we are protected? MS,
Google, Apple, ... all take great care to have their users agree to
data gathering by default, it may be hidden in unscrupulous small
print and disguised links but it is there somewhere. Also the
requirements and regulations are not globally uniform. It is so much
easier to offer the option at the users discretion. We have nothing to
hide that way.
