Hi Laurie,

that may well be true but only at the cost of more false decodes, using more CPU resources than users with low spec machines might have or by applying a customized message analyser to filter out possible false decodes that potentially hides some valid decodes. Also there's nothing there for Mac users, EME users, VHF, UHF or Microwave users either.

Bottom line is that there would be no JTDX without WSJT-X. Same applies to JT65-HF, that would not be there if there had not been WSJT to steal functionality from.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.
