Hello Brendan-

Are you seeing the SWR readings on the internal radio metering? If so do
you have a another SWR bridge to hook to the radio to see if it's actually
the antenna or something inside of the radio.

This is wild but:

Are you using CAT control? Any chance the transceiver is directed to [VFO
B]  a different frequency during the high SWR times?
