Bill and Mike:

I have received an updated pstRotatorAZ file from Codrut, to test with the
new Grid Square presence in wsjtx_status.txt

Initial tests successful.

I clicked on a CQ with Grid square and rotor turned to grid
coordinate....AND, there was no lookup or call fill-in next to the green Go
button. That means, to me....that it used the Grid Square and ignored the
call sign...PERFECT. USA Station with Grid

Then...I double clicked on a call where they were in QSO, so there was no
grid square. A call populated the box next to the Green Go button, info
returned and rotor turned to the FCC database bearing. USA Station w/o Grid

Now...DX Station with Girid: IT9PQO. Antenna turned to 49 deg , same
heading as in WSJT-X.

Now...DX Station with no Grid: DF1MHL. He was sending RRR, of course, no
Grid. Antenna did not turn! (DF1 probably missing from pstRotatorAZ
internal dx database)

Another DX Station with no Grid: LU5HA. Called filled in the Box next to
Green button and antenna turned to proper heading for Argentina.

DX Stations with No Grids:

ZF2A: Turned to proper heading
DL2IAU: Ditto
YU7YG: Ditto
IU8BWU: Ditto

Summary:

In USA Grid or no Grid work perfectly every time.
DX: Grid works perfectly every time.
DX: No Grid works nearly all the time, some prefixes probably not in
database.

Congrats, Codrut, it looks like it works perfectly! I will give it a more
thorough workout tomorrow morning on 6 meters meteor scatter, where all
will be in USA (or maybe a Canad or Mexico)

Thanks so much...will report back more if anything else shows up while I'm
on 20m this afternoon.

I'll let everyone know when the testing is finished and Codrut has released
a new public version.

Thanks to the TEAM!
