After finishing with the test, I switched configurations to “normal” FT8, but
found I could not enable a tx - the button just would not turn red. I closed
v1.4rc, started v1.8 and the problem went away. I closed v1.8, opened v1.4rc
and the problem was not there. Maybe a profile fubar? Or, some kind of radio
command thing going from “fake it” split mode to “none” when doing the
configuration change?
Otherwise, v1.4rc worked fine.
BTW, in “fake it” split mode, my radio says it switches +500kc on tx. Is this
normal? Normally, I use “none” so had not noticed this before.
