Sure, but there is wide use of both FT8 and MSK144 in the same VHF
contest. We would far prefer contest mode to behave the same way in
both modes.
As you might expect, we are busy looking at more comprehensive ways of
addressing the problem. The solution is not one for v1.9.1, however.
