Hi Mark,

Thanks for your interesting report on using FT8 at 222 MHz.

Also important: we're waiting to hear from you about the "/R" (rover) capabilities in WSJT-X 2.0. This facility is there because you (and others) asked for it. We would appreciate your feedback.

Hi:

In case anyone is interested. There was a reasonable amount of activity yesterday in
the pacific north West on 222 MHz FT8 during the 222 MHz sprint. My FT736 appears to be
more than stable enough for FT8 use on that band. At one point I was getting two
decodes on two audio frequencies from another station due to air craft scatter (I could
hear an air craft flying over head at the time) and I could see the second Doppler
shifted trace on the "Wide Graph" display and WSJT-x was able to decode the
Doppler shifted signals some of the time.

(Most (if not all ?) of the stations were reporting to PSK reporter. Managed
to make two extra contacts by using FT8 including a CN93 to CN89 contact that I
suspect wouldn't have been possible with SSB/CW.)

I hope this is of some interest to at least a few people (:
