Thanks Joe.   In this case I am almost  certain the 73 message came from a 
third station (the df was different and the station I was trying to work 
continued to call me with his original message on the original df.)

If in fact messages such as "TU JOHN 73" are intended to cause the auto 
sequence function to advance I see this as a possible issue while running 
MSK144 on a crowded channel.

On another note I did manage to complete two MSK144 qso's today in contest mode 
while using a "/R" call.   Thanks to you and the rest of the team for pushing 
thru the enhancements.

(My self and two other stations also experienced some "odd issues" and if I can 
either work out how to replicate them or clearly explain them I will pass them 
onto the list.)
