Running on OSX, 10.14. I’ve used the 1.x release for some time now; it’s always worked and still does.
Testing of the 2.0 rc2 release was likewise uneventful. The rc3 release crashes on the first decode, with the following trace. The error message is always the same; the stack trace is always the same. The folders identified in the error message both exist at the time of the crash. Running: /Applications/wsjtx.app/Contents/MacOS/jt9 -s WSJT-X -w 1 -m 3 -e /Applications/wsjtx.app/Contents/MacOS -a "/Users/alb/Library/Application Support/WSJT-X" -t /var/folders/11/x4zbgtxd04j7dq671rqs6np40000gn/T/WSJT-X At line 145 of file /Users/bill/wsjtx-prefix/src/lib/ft8_decode.f90 (unit = 81) Fortran runtime error: Cannot open file 'fort.81': Permission denied Error termination. I’ve seen some discussion on the list about this being a problem due to use of FT8, but FT8 is all I’ve ever used. Allan
