Allan, The “Subprocess Error” is due to a bug in rc3 and only affects FT8 operation.
The fix is simple.
1. Download WSJT-X again and drag the WSJT-X app to your Desktop
2. Open a Terminal window (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and type:
~/Desktop/wsjtx.app/Contents/MacOS/wsjtx
and wsjtx will launch and behave correctly.
