Actually, for the FT8 Contest submission, it should be <callsign>.cbf or
<callsign>.log. The system will accept either one, although the rules
specify <callsign>.log.
The Windows rename function will work fine. You may need to adjust your
window display to show the extension however, in order to change it to .log.

I was a bit confused as well but since it said yourcall.log in
the instructions, I did it that way. And as Ed W0YK mentioned,
