Dear Steve,
In my case I had Dimension 4 running keeping my clock in my computer very close
to the correct time.
Is there something better I could have used? Or is it just a fluke from the
other stations I was calling? Or is it the bug that was killing me and why
were others making contacts all the time and
I was being kept out for some other reason that I need to fix?

Thanks for your help.

Andy,

Thank you for sending wav files!

This morning I identified and fixed a bug that probably explains the symptoms
that you have described. The bug was causing signals with negative DT to fail
to decode. This bug may explain why some users observe that decoding seems to
stop working after a period. If the computer's clock drifts such that DT's are
shifted toward negative values, then that could have prevented signals from
decoding. This should now be fixed, and the corrected code will be in the GA
release.

Here are the decodes that I get from the 193215 Saturday evening after fixing
the bug:

193215 -15 -0.1 748 ~ CQ RU YC2YIZ OI52 Indonesia
193215 -16 -0.2 912 ~ ES4NY SV8EUB 539 0024
193215 -1 0.0 1035 ~ OH4NDU RX4HX 559 0036
193215 5 -0.3 1312 ~ OZ6GH EA3KU R 569 0017
193215 0 -1.0 1457 ~ IK2RZP SA3MYS 539 0002
193215 7 -0.1 1712 ~ G8AJM UA3ROB 539 0016
193215 -15 -0.3 1874 ~ HA8TKS ON4HRT R 549 0024
193215 -12 -0.3 1966 ~ PD2EMP UR7HN 529 0004
193215 -2 -0.3 2043 ~ ES4NY RX6ACJ 549 0024
193215 -17 -0.6 2194 ~ PD2EMP RA3TT 549 0010
193215 -6 0.1 2264 ~ UR3QTN EA2ASB 539 0003
193215 -19 -0.6 782 ~ OH8WW M0IEP 579 0009
193215 -12 -0.1 1015 ~ CQ RU R3QG KO91 EU Russia
193215 -8 -0.4 2040 ~ ES4NY RC7LS 569 0033

You’ll notice that most of these decodes show negative DT, which explains why
they weren’t decoding before.
