There were major issues with RST not getting filled in, both sent and received.
I’ve got about 200 dupes in my Cabrillo because one line has no RST, and the
next line has the RST typed in manually. It was a major pain during the
contest. While filling in the data manually, Transmitting is disabled, so it
further slows down the RATE.

Also, when you get a repeat of the exchange, as frequently happens, the RST can
change, so there may be a discrepancy between two logs, depending on which
version of the RST was logged. If I were the software programmer, I would make
everybody 599 in contest mode, just as God intended.

It is interesting that it was only the sent/received RST that acted this way.
States/provinces and serial numbers were solid.

Hi Ed,

I was caught early on in the contest with this problem. If the user was
using TAB 2 then the sent RST and exchange was not filled in. I had to manually
fill in the sent RST and my sent exchange with every QSO or it will save as
empty. If they didn't notice the empty fields then they got saved with nulls.
Once I figured out that if I used TAB 1 everything was automatically filled in
and the QSO was saved correctly. Hopefully everyone has the values to backfill
the info into the Cabrillo file. I had a good Cabrillo file and ended having to
backfill my saved ADIF before I imported it into my logging program.

We're approaching 850 logs received for the FT8 Roundup that ended less than
24 hours ago. A number of logs have come in without RSTs in the QSO lines,
mostly just the sent RST. The Cabrillo files are said to have been created
  by WSJT-X 1.0, rc5.

Is there a mistake or omission that a user might make to cause the RST to
not be included in the Cabrillo log file?

  Thanks,
