Hello Wolfgang, For a recently downloaded, version 5.31.331.0 Copyright 1996 to 2003, run on Window 7,
on the advanced setting, there are two radio buttons, to use a single server or "Automatically pick a new server for each sync". On my machine, sometime it reports, at bottom of screen in grey color, that it fails to sync on first trail and auto retry successfully in 1 second later. 73 Simon VR2UKQ On 12/6/18, Wolfgang <oe1...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello Simon, > > Thursday, December 6, 2018, 3:38:45 PM, you wrote: > >> The Dimension 4 i download recently uses, in dafault list, dozens >> of ntp server, one after the next. > > this is exactly the point: D4 lists many server, but for time sync it > is using just one of them.
