Hi Bill, The reason I suggested running as Administrator is to see if there are any authorization issues. If it works as Admin and does not work as non-Admin, that is useful information to know.
On my Ubuntu system some of the RC versions and the GA version produce a Log File Error message (upon clicking OK in the Log QSO dialog) popup that contains the text "Cannot open "/home/eric/local/share/WSJT-X/wsjtx_log.adi". If I run using sudo I do not get this error message box. Right click on program icon to choose this. Eric ________________________________ Hi Eric, this is poor advice, there is absolutely no reason to run WSJT-X with administrator rights, do so is a potential security risk. Just don't do it. 73 Bill G4WJS.
