this may be a problem. The id of the selected audio devices is
probably not the same on the two systems and that information is
stored in the configuration file. Please try separating the two
configurations by starting one of them using a
'--rig-name=<something-unique>` on one of them.......

The --rig-name= works fine, however this brings up another issue.
I assume from this that a user upgrading the distro from Mga6 to Mga7
when it arrives will also hit the same problem?
If this is the case then what steps would be needed to make the
upgrade seamless from a user's point of view?

Hi Barry,
we can't automatically account for device names changing due to an o/s
upgrade. If there are more than one i/p and o/p audio device then
changing to another and back to whatever the rig audio devices are in
the WSJT-X settings should sort it out. As a final resort the audio
device entries in the settings .ini file can be removed with a text
editor. They are in the [Configuration] section with the keys
"SoundInName" and "SoundOutName".
