*Bill, what do you think about installing N1MM+ given it's requirement to install as Admin?*

Hi Hasan,

I am not aware that it does need to be installed as Administrator. Installers on Windows normally run from a non-privileged user account and request elevation for any parts of the installation that need extra rights. How that elevation request presents itself depends on the system setup, either a UAC prompt to continue or a request to login as a privileged user is normal.

It appears that the N1MM+ installer needs to register several components and that will require Administrator rights, if they recommend running the initial installer as Administrator (by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator") then I would do that. As for installing updates, it is integrated and does not ask for elevated access.

Note that applications that install into the "Program Files (x86)" or "Program Files" directories will definitely need elevated rights at some point during installation.
