Ross,
as I stated, it is a run time dependency. There is no easy way to do
what you suggest, in fact the whole point of plug in libraries is that
they are not required at link time. Building from sources does not
obviate you from following the installation instructions in the WSJT-X
User Guide, all you are doing is starting the installation process at an
earlier stage than those running more recent o/s versions who can use
the pre-built installer packages.
