Bill, one of the first time it happened, I was switching, but after that I've been sticking to RC5. And as I stated originally, now it also happens seemingly unprovoked while RC5 is running idle, only monitoring. I also had "blue screen" a couple of times, and I've had to pull out the mains power cord and wait some minutes to be able to start in safety mode. Are you suggesting that there is some interaction between 2.0.1 and 2.1.0-rc5? Could removing one or both and reinstalling be a solution? I1m very happy with the FT8 of RC5, and still trying my best at FT4.
I'm planning on going to the clubstation again tomorrow morning (that's 0500 UTC), and I might experiment with un-/reinstall then if that is a viable option.
