Program version: 2.0.1 7ddcb7 Operating system: Windows 10, ver. 1809 (OS Build 17763.503) Description: After sitting idle with Monitor on for several minutes, WSJT-X will key the transceiver on Tune or transmit, but does not generate sound to the soundcard. I have confirmed that the issue is in WSJT-X, not Windows or the soundcard. Confirmation was by testing the soundcard with the Windows Speaker Properties popup to eliminate Windows or the soundcard as the cause. 100% reproducible for users who are seeing this. Have identified a small number of other users who are affected. Can obtain additional logs if helpful. Please advise. Sequence of steps to repeat: Note: Only a small number of users reproduce this AFAICT.
1. Disable Windows screen saver and all USB power-saving options. 2. Start WSJT-X.3. Confirm proper operation of Tune control.4. Let WSJT-X idle for 10-30 minutes.5. Key the Tune control. Rig will be placed in transmit mode but no audio will go to the soundcard.
