Just merging two audio inputs is not RX diversity.

It is much better to run two copies of WSJTX (option -r for both).
For THAT rare DX you can monitor both decodes and manually fix QSO progress.
Primary WSJTX is used also for TX, secondary for RX only, otherwise you might 
end up with two LOGs.

A while ago I published patch for WSJTX 2.0.1 where proper diversity was 
(almost) done.
2.1.2 version will be published when my friend figures out how to compile 
jt9.exe for windows.
