I have a brief query about the format of the ADIF records in the wsjtx_log.adi
file that's
created and updated by WSJT-X.

I appear to have lost the first 1,000 or so entries in my wsjtx_log.adi file; I
occasionally open
the file using the ADIFMaster utility app and I suspect that sometime in the
past (apparently
over a year ago) and presumably as a result of operator incompetence(!) I must
have
accidentally deleted a block of the ADIF records at the beginning of the file.

Sadly I don't have any backups of the file that go back that far, but I can
re-create ADIF
records for all the missing entries in the wsjtx_log.adi file from my logging
program and/or
from ClubLog and LoTW. I could then just paste all the missing ADIF records
back into the
wsjtx_log.adi file, but this gives rise to my question...

Each ADIF record in the wsjtx_log.adi file created and updated by WSJT-X has
all the ADIF
fields on a single line whereas the ADIF records that I can re-create for the
QSOs missing
from the wsjtx_log.adi file will be on multiple lines with each line ending in
a CR/LF pair.

My question for the developers is: When WSJT-X reads the ADIF log file, does
it care if
each ADIF record up to its <eor> marker is spread across multiple lines each
ending with
CR/LF, or does WSJT-X expect and/or require each ADIF record to be on a single
line with a
single CR/LF after the <eor> marker?

Thanks in advance,
