Or maybe need to do a Frequency Reset on the instance that is failing?

File/Settings/Frequencies -- right-click in the Working Frequencies list and 
choose "Reset".

Hi Rik,

I believe that is over zealous checking by the Hamlib library. Do you get these 
message just at startup or at other times as well?
