Hi Tom,
your observations are correct. I don't think we mind too much if topics
drift towards support issues, long off-topic threads are obviously not
welcome. Many users do not want to belong to multiple lists,
particularly as the traffic level on the general support list is
moderately high. This list is definitely development focused despite the
level of non-development topics.
