Thanks Mike, I set the ALC meter to the L in the ALC label on left side
ALC scale on my FTDX101MP, such that it has barely moved, but detectably
has.

Two of us wrote a paper on how to set your audio which works on every
rig it's been used on. Elecraft rigs are the "oddball" that needs 4
bars or so of ALC.
You can typically get around 90% of the power setting on the rig
without ALC. So a 100W setting can usually do around 90W with zero ALC.
