When I run the install script "sudo dpkg -i wsjtx_2.2.2_amd64.deb" I get:-

Forge downloads page, the WSJT-X v2.2.2 Debian style Linux binary
package we provide targets Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. To install on other
versions of Ubuntu, or other Debian based Linux systems that are not
derived from Ubuntu 18, you must build WSJT-X from sources or install a
package from a suitable repository.
