I use the program with a FT-897D and found direct connect to radio , or via FLrig unreliable.

I how run HRD 5.24 under crossover in debian connected to the FT-897D, and use the HRD option in wsjtx v2.2.2 , it is rock solid.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for this. I did try that version but I think there is a problem in the PG is not recognising the USB adaptor of the radio.

I have tried to look for a Linux driver but have not been able to find one so I need to find a Linux expert to have a look to see what is going on.

So this project may have to go on ice for a bit.

which I created to run on Debian Buster here,

    Hi All,

I am trying to install WSJTX on my Linux laptop and failing badly!

When I run the install script "sudo dpkg -i wsjtx_2.2.2_amd64.deb"

libfftw3-single3 is already the newest version (3.3.8-2ubuntu1).

libusb-1.0-0 is already the newest version (2:1.0.23-2build1).

You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.

The following packages have unmet dependencies.

wsjtx : Depends: libgfortran3 (>= 4.8.2) but it is not installable

Depends: libgfortran4 (>= 7) but it is not going to be
    installed

E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no
    packages (or specify a solution).

    So I ran:-

    sudo apt --fix-broken install

    libboost-regex1.67.0 libboost-regex1.71.0 libboost-system1.67.0

      libboost-thread1.67.0

Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.

The following packages will be REMOVED
