Please keep in mind that 1838.0 to 1838.2 is the low power WSPR 
spectrum. It should be protected from other signals and intermodulation, 
as well as suppressed SSB carriers, like they often can be found on 
1840.0 (FT8 dial).
I agree that the FST4 dial frequency could be a bit lower, but there 
should be a safety margin to 1838.2.
