Joe,
Before blaming the problem on RFI you may want to verify that the rig is
getting full power into the rig. I once had a problem with my TS-2000  that
turned out to be a power cord fuse problem, the rig ran ok at low power but
at higher output settings I had multiple intermittent problems. Turned out
to be one burnt fuse holder in the power cord red wire, and the black fuse
was blown. It's a wonder the rig ran at all, must have found ground through
the chassis, I guess.
