Joe, Before blaming the problem on RFI you may want to verify that the rig is getting full power into the rig. I once had a problem with my TS-2000 that turned out to be a power cord fuse problem, the rig ran ok at low power but at higher output settings I had multiple intermittent problems. Turned out to be one burnt fuse holder in the power cord red wire, and the black fuse was blown. For a power out level of 25 watts or less the transmitter seems to function normally but at a higher level the output from the transmitter is irregular, varying rather than a steady output level. I'm believing that there is some RFI susceptibility in the 1204 itself or the cabling. Has anyone seen something similar and if so what did you do to eliminate the problem.
