looking for will be something like:

Joe K1JT mentioned it would help if I could provide 6m EME .wav
files. I am currently unable to run WSJT-X v2.4.0rc1 because my
OS 10.14.6 Mojave shuts down WSJTX with a Memory Allocation MALLOC
error.
Bill kindly provided the terminal-window work-around which doesn’t
work (blocked due to permissions) so I am unable to do much
yet. I tried sudo su (then my password) and then the path to
launch WSJTX but it fails out every time.
I don’t wish to consume precious developers’ time on tech support
here. Just wondering when we may expect to see 2.4.0rc2.

Hi Dave,
please explain what "blocked due to permissions" consists of? You
don't need to use root privileges to run WSJT-X, in fact it strongly
recommended not to.
