There is no problem using WSJT-X v2.4.0-rc1 under macOS. Many are doing
so; all needed instructions have been posted on this reflector. If you
need help, just ask.
Release candidates are published and updated when they are ready. At
this stage of development we can't predict exactly when that will be.

I am currently unable to run WSJT-X v2.4.0rc1 because my OS 10.14.6
Mojave shuts down WSJTX with a Memory Allocation MALLOC error.
Bill kindly provided the terminal-window work-around which doesn’t work
(blocked due to permissions) so I am unable to do much yet. I tried
sudo su (then my password) and then the path to launch WSJTX but it
fails out every time.
I don’t wish to consume precious developers’ time on tech support here.
Just wondering when we may expect to see 2.4.0rc2.
