Hi Mike,
the information you provided is not clear to me. Your attached document
above mentions that the JTAlert pop up is prior to logging the contact
in whichever logging program JTAlert is directed to convey log entries
to. That is a misunderstanding on your part, the pop up message is post
the logging and determines if the log record has been inserted into the
target logging program. All of this is unrelated to WSJT-X.
What exactly is not logged when you use WSJT-X v2.5.0 RC6?

Did you see the attachment?
When rc6 was used, I hit OK in the confirmation window and the contact
was not logged.

* Updated to RC6 this evening.

* Rebooted the PC and logging did not work.
* Removed RC6 and reloaded RC5 to restore.

Hi Mike,
this is probably due to the correction of a defect. Automatic
logging in WSJT-X is only supposed to work in contest modes, as
implied by the text in parenthesis in the setting check box label.
If you ar enot using contest modes then you must log each contact
by clicking the OK button in the WSJT-X Log QSO window after
reviewing the details to be logged.
In contest modes there is further validation of the QSO details
which prompts the user for completion if incomplete.
