I turned it into a generic "don't set unless necessary". Was causing power problems on the K4 too.Hopefully it's fixed now and applies to all rigs that can get split status and trying to set split on again. Split off will always run a command. Mike W9MDB

So how are your cable pinouts connected? Try this rigctld -v -Z -vvvvv -m 2003 -s 4800 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4532 --serial_handshake=None --write_delay=5 I tried as above but got: rigctld: unrecognized option '--serial_handshake=None So I did: rigctld -v -Z -vvvvv -m 2003 -s 4800 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4532 -C serial_handshake=None,write_delay=5 Output attached which is an improvement. I then started wsjtx and results were not good, band switching failed rather randomly - again attached. Cheers, Barry G4MKT Hi Barry and Mike, the problem there seems pretty straightforward, Hamlib is attempting an FT; query and the TS-450S/TS-690S only have the set version of that command, no query version. 73 Bill G4WJS. _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
