The VAC sound problem seems to be gone now - been working for two days fine. 
The ANF to off problem is the same - BTW, when I wrote switching, I meant it 
goes to off when on transmit and stays there until manually set back to on.

I just switched back to 2.5.1 and the ANF -> off problem does not occur - does 
appear to be a 2.5.2 (maybe CAT hamlib) problem. Of course, now I have the main 
window not remembering its previous size problem, which is fixed in 2.5.2 - for 
me at least.
