WSJTX 2.5.4 Hamlib 4.5~git quisk 4.1.93 Hermes lite 2 pulseaudio connections all compiled from source on linux mint 20.2
decoding no problem .. spectrum works ok .. but if I go to change freq get the following error reported from within wsjtx :- Hamlib error: Invalid parameter rig.c(2503):rig_set_vfo return(-4) Feature not implemented rig_set_vfo: return -4, vfo=VFO, curr_vfo=VFO rig_set_vfo: elapsed=105ms rig_set_vfo: elapsed=105msrig_set_freq: elapsed=285ms rig.c(1691):rig_set_freq return(-1) Invalid parameter rig.c(2503):rig_set_vfo return(-4) Feature not implemented rig_set_vfo: return -4, vfo=VFO, curr_vfo=VFO rig_set_vfo: elapsed=105ms rig_set_vfo: elapsed=105msrig_set_freq: elapsed=285ms rig_set_freq: elapsed=285ms while setting frequency Timestamp: 2022-01-23T03:27:18.205Z .......... another error reported withing wsjtx :- Hamlib error: Invalid parameter 0000 52 50 52 54 20 2d 31 0a RPRT -1. netrigctl_set_freq: cmd=F VFOA 21074055.00wsjt-de...@lists.sourceforge.net 0000 rig.c(1571):rig_set_freq return(-1) Invalid parameter 0000 52 50 52 54 20 2d 31 0a RPRT -1. netrigctl_set_freq: cmd=F VFOA 21074055.000000 netrigctl_set_freq: cmd=F VFOA 21074055.000000 while setting frequency Timestamp: 2022-01-23T03:43:25.178Z .......... I have tried regressing to wsjtx 2.5.2 and various earlier versions of hamlib with no luck .. although keeping track of everything is challenging .. I emailed quisk developer and he suggested an issue with hamlib 4.4 + .. however hamlib 4.5 rigctl seems quite functional including F commands or an icompatibilty with the newer wsjtx versions (though I tried regressing here also without any luck) I do not understand the programming structure .. maybe someone who does might be able to identify the issue and suggest a fix? rig_set_vfo seems to be getting a bad parameter ? from wsjtx thanks de zl1any
