Hi all,
I recently wrote about building and running WSJT-X in a Docker container

). This works great for me and I no longer plan to run any of the built
binaries.
But another option I have become aware of, would be to build the program
as an AppImage ( https://appimage.org/ ).
Is there any experience here with that concept?
If it is living up to its promises it seems to be a nice way of
distributing a program like WSJT-X in a format that runs on most
linux/unix distros, instead of building packages for each and everyone
of these.
